Lavandin (Lavandula x intermedia) is a hybrid between two different species of Lavender flowers that is known for its strong fragrance and is sometimes referred to as "Dutch Lavender".
Lavender originates in the Mediterranean and has a long history of use throughout Europe as a culinary ingredient, aromatherapy, skincare ingredient and medicinal herb.

Lavandin can be used almost interchangeably with the classic Lavender flower. Lavender can be used in herbal tea blends, aromatherapy and topical formulations, culinary recipes or macerated as a herbal tincture.
