Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) is a bitter and aromatic herb that originates in Europe, Siberia and the United States and has a long history of use in Traditional European Herbalism for its health supporting properties.
Wormwood has also been used in cocktail bitters, beer brewing (before hops) and is the most commonly known ingredient in Absinthe, a strong liquor that is known for having significant affects.
