Cholesterol Control (60 VCaps)
A bergamot supplement for balanced cholesterol
Cholesterol Control helps maintain healthy cholesterol levels (total, LDL and HDL), which is important for cardiovascular health.
There are many lifestyle factors that can contribute to cardiovascular health, particularly diet. Consumption of highly processed, high fat, low fiber, sugary foods have been linked to increased total cholesterol levels, triglyceride levels and blood sugar. These three levels have been directly linked as risk factors for the development of diseases.
Individuals with high cholesterol can reduce overall cholesterol by diet and lifestyle changes as well as drugs or supplements that reduce production or increased excretion of cholesterol. Further the ratio of HDL:LDL is important when discussing cholesterol related risk.
Bergamot (Citrus Bergamia) found in Cholesterol Control is a citrus fruit found in the coastal Calabrian region of Italy. Bergamot contains a diverse and highly concentrated flavonoid profile, making it very beneficial for a number of cardiovascular processes. The polyphenols in bergamot contain properties common to other citrus flavonoids, ie. antioxidant properties.
AOR Advantage
AOR’s Cholesterol Control contains a proprietary extract of bergamot which has been thoroughly researched for its cardiovascular benefits. This proprietary standardized extract called Bergavit® from Italy uses the fruit for a final extract ratio of 150:1, standardized to flavonoids (neoeriocitrin, naringin, neohesperidin) at 25 – 28%.

Using Herbs With Care & Consideration
Herbs are powerful. They’ve been used for centuries to nourish, support, and restore the body—but just like any tool for wellness, they should be approached with knowledge, respect, and intention. Before using any herb that’s new to you, we highly encourage you to do your research, ask questions, and—most importantly—consult a certified healthcare practitioner, whether that’s a clinical herbalist, naturopath, or your trusted family doctor. Everyone’s body is different, and what works incredibly for one person may not be the right fit for another.
While we’re passionate about sharing the wisdom of herbal medicine, not all the information on our website has been reviewed by Health Canada or the FDA—which means it’s up to you to take an active role in your health. Learn, explore, and empower yourself. Herbal medicine is about cultivating a relationship with plants, understanding their effects, and using them with reverence, respect, and intention.
Your health is your own, and it is up to you to ensure that you are using plant medicine safely, effectively and knowledgeably. We’re here to support you as you step into that power by supplying high-quality, handcrafted and sustainably sourced herbs and plants.
